1930s Art Deco Club Chair Restoration. As part of the work that took place, all original upholstery was stripped back to the frame, new jute webbing was installed, the original springs & cane front rail were reinstalled, new premium comfort layers were added, I marked & cut fabric, pattern matching almost every of the 36 pieces, I pinned fabrics & patterned a shapely border which was sewn together to form the seat, cotton piping details were carefully applied for delicate detailing, before finally wrapping the chair in an iconic William Morris Design called African Marigold.
